Where We Started
Built By Josh LLC started with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
Josh McKinney began his career in the pharmaceutical field, where attention to detail and problem-solving were crucial. However, his desire to work hands-on to create lasting outcomes led him to transition into construction. This decision was strongly influenced by his father, Bryan McKinney, a seasoned general contractor (pictured far right). Bryan's extensive experience in the industry has been invaluable in guiding Josh as he ventured into building and renovating homes, and he remains an essential element of our business today.
After gaining several years of experience as a project manager and collaborating with various contractors, Josh started taking on projects of his own. Eventually, he decided to branch out independently, which led to the creation of Built By Josh LLC. Today, we are dedicated to bringing renovation projects to life and constructing new dream homes from the ground up, helping homeowners bring their dreams to life with care and precision.
