Bedroom Addition

This job was an interior basement build. The scope was to create a bedroom for the daughter, replace the carpet floors with luxury vinyl plank, and finish.

Demo was first removing all the carpet.

The wall to separate the bedroom was framed in along with the closet.

The interior walls were insulated to reduce noise.

The fresh new studs and insulation was wrapped in drywall and finished.

Electrical was run providing outlets on the new interior walls.

New interior doors and baseboard were set.

The room was then painted with a glitter accent wall in the daughter's bedroom (I added double glitter to the paint)

LVP flooring was laid after the moisture barrier was down.

Shoe molding was added and finished off by touch ups.
