Full Kitchen Demo/Frame

12' x 16' Deck

This deck is set on 12” centers and double banded for strength as well as appearance (decking boards have no wave when laid on shortened centers).

The trex rain escape system was installed in between joist bays to channel water into the guttering system beneath leaving the bays completely dry from all weathering.

The new Timbertec PVC facia boards were laid with hidden seams by an improved joint practice leaving no exposed edges.

The top edge of the facia was then sealed prior to installing the new decking.

The new PVC (cool to the touch even in blistering summer heat) decking was installed in a picture frame layout throughout. The install was provided by using the hidden fasteners with plugs along side camo attachment spacing.

The new Trex Elevation rails were installed and into the preplanned PT framing below leaving a strong rigid and beautiful design behind.

The sub structure was invaded using vinyl soffit and metal to fully inclose this design.

Home Refresh

New LVP flooring, ceiling/walls painted, new craftsman closet systems, new trim/shoe molding installed and stained.

The Edwards Project

This one was an exterior makeover including new construction windows (x10), new vinyl siding, new shutters, new window casements on the interior, a new front door & screen door, and gutters.

Rental Refresh

Rental refresh/improvement job.

The work:
-paint walls ceilings and trim throughout home
-clean up property around the exterior
-remove brush
-clean flower beds
-cut small trees
-adjust cabinet doors and secure property
-remove existing foundation supports and replace with new plumb/adequate supports (14).

Sparks project

Full bathroom remodel come along with our first ever tile shower build. Amazing to look through this album and see how much work went into this bathroom to see the overall result. Very proud of this job and we look forward to the next challenge!

The Eden Kitchen

A full gut/demo and rebuild of this kitchen. Two dividing walls added, floors refinished throughout, new kitchen cabinets, thin brick backsplash, lighting, interior barn door into wash room, and a new exterior door

Open-Concept Design

Full gut/full demo to turn this divided area into an open living design.

Two chimneys removed, multiple areas replaced due to water intrusion (rot), load bearing walls removed/reframed, and complete ceiling removal/replaced with new at 9ft height to really showcase the new open space.

Bathroom Redo

There were some late nights on this project but tonight it all come together and made it worth the wait.

The Hampton Project

A full upstairs gut and remodel. This includes a full bath with a claw foot tub, tile shower, nickel gap board throughout walls and ceilings, and hardwood floor refinished. The new staircase was designed for a small sitting area for reading at the landing large enough for a twin mattress for guests.

New Tenant Preparation

A refresh project in preparation for a new tenant.

We fully restored this home about three years ago and it’s always nice coming back to check in and help keep it in it’s beautiful state.

I personally love this build. The Tall ceilings, a open kitchen/ living area, and a very efficient bath/washroom.

The Marr job

Basement Turned Into Complete Living Space

We started with a shell. We built a complete living area in a basement. An office, a kitchenette, a full bathroom, a bedroom, multiple closets, and the three beautiful 9ft tall bookcases made this job one of a kind.

Screen Room Addition

Another screen room addition completed. A gable addition with a vaulted interior ceiling finished in white vinyl soffit. The Trex Company decking with white PCA screen system and railings was a beautiful touch to brighten up this new build.

Front Porch Roof & Deck Rebuild

The hip roof covering the front porch was in pretty rough shape when we arrived. We demoed the old roof as well as the porch itself and rebuilt from ground up. Deck has Timber Tech AZEK decking boards, pvc trim wrapped around perimeter, and metal wrapped white posts for a finished look. It was a mess but turned out beautiful.

Basement Buildout

A clean new look in this basement buildout.

A new bedroom was added with an egress window and small closet.

A new living area was also created to enclose and hide the homes utilities. The new use of space helped provide additional storage areas as well as tuck away the homes HVAC duct work and hot water heater for an excellent use of space.

The Cobble Kitchen/Bath

Removed interior wall separating kitchen from dining for open floor plan. Adjusted ceiling height to accommodate for smooth ceilings throughout. Full gut and rebuild in bath.

Hail Damage Repair

Hail damage complete! The vinyl siding got busted apart from a hail storm about 4 months ago in Jonesborough. We stripped the siding and added TYVEC home wrap in the damaged areas then waited about three months for siding to come in. Siding order come in and after two days we finished it up

New Joists

New joists topped with new AZEK T&G pvc decking. Sometimes a simple little change is all it takes to make a difference.

Small Water Damage Job

A small water damage job. The issue was an over shooting gutter not securely attached to the homes facia board.

We cut two holes to explore the damage. One small 4in. X 12in. Above the window where paint and drywall experienced moisture and one larger 4ft. X 5ft. For exploring the sheeting to assure no further damage was present.

Once we properly installed the gutter and flashed the roof vents we went inside to patch and finish out two cuts.

Once finished it was as simple as priming and painting the ceiling and rear main wall of the home.

Small Existing Deck Makeover

The homeowners requested a railing around the current deck, 4ft steps, and a double gate for a new furry family member.

The Harke Project

The Merritt Project

(4 in 1):
So the first thing we decided to tackle was to correctly flash the gable roof and and myratec trim along roofline. We also did this same technique to the front of the home to prevent future water damage as well as adding style to the home.

Next we added a new gutter to the front of the home with correct water drainage routes. Once the front of the home was completed we moved to the rear where we readjusted the original gutter. The Downspout and drainage system was not effectively running water from the home or diverting water in a different course as it was intended. A French drain was the solution. After fixing the rear gutter we then installed a new downspout that ran into a new pvc French drain. The drain then took a 30 degree turn and run the water out and away from the home. A pop up drain was installed beside the street where it could escape.

The next step for us was the stairs.
The front steps were rotten and falling apart as well is the stair rise and run dimensions varying from 1-4 inches in either direction. This wasn’t the most challenging set of stairs we have done but they turned out with a beautiful 7” in. rise and 11 1/2” in. Run. The stairs were filled with gravel and tamped until firm and evenly packed.

Following the front steps we then moved back into the backyard where we wrapped up the much smaller but no easier staircase leading into the backyard fire and grilling area.

The Drum Job

1) Remove wood stove and patch roof where chimney vents.
2) Add fresh subfloor for new flooring.
3) hang and finish drywall throughout entire room.

Screen Room Addition to Existing Home

This screen room was built with a gable roof extending above the interior kitchen and dining area. (Skylight was added through new roof into kitchen for added sunlight)

The framing of the structure was built with pressure treated lumber topped with new trex composite decking.

The build continued upwards to a stick built vaulted ceiling gable roof that extended over most of the deck.

A small area at the top of the staircase was added for grilling.

A simple retaining wall with minor grade work was also done to redirect water around the new footers and into the lower yard.

Last but not least white vinyl lattice was added.

A cold but fun job with the guys.

The Eden Deck

This job was a demo and rebuild.

We removed the old decking/framing and rebuilt from footers up.

We used the same dimensions and layout as the previous deck, with the exception of new Trex composite decking.

She Shed/Tiny Home

This was by far the most exciting, challenging, and involved project in 2020. This was my FAVORITE!!

The customer asked for windows to be framed and for the knee wall to be wrapped in siding.

We framed in a small scale home build with tiny 2x4 headers over each window including the gable ends on non load bearing walls. We run new walls on top of the existing knee wall with the proper framing techniques. The previous knee wall was just studded 16 on center to support our new and small scale correct walls that are embracing the windows.

We chose to not only wrap the existing knee wall with beveled 1x8 pine siding but to actually run siding up to the roof line around the entire build.

We wrapped each window (23 total) and the door with 1x2.5 inch pine that was ripped down from a 1x12 pine board.

The windows were set in with 0.5 inch x 0.5 inch strips to hold them into place.

3 of the 23 total windows were installed with hinges, latches, and make shift locks to make them function.

Last but not least we added a 5x12 deck to tie it into its habitat. The deck was “picture framed” to add extra style to the already amazing project.

The Bristol Deck/Screen Room

- Gable roof addition to the existing home.
- Rotted rim joist repair and new decking ledger boards added and properly flashed to create the new structure.
- Trex decking, PCA screen system, and metal wrapped posts.
- Two new doors on existing home and new window were replaced.

Car Port

- Lvl framing holding up a beautiful hip roof.
- Posts and beams wrapped in white metal for style.
- Trex decking and vinyl wrapped stairs.

Screen Room with Knee Wall Addition

- Framed up the deck.
- Added a gable stick built roof.
- Returned to add balusters down the stairs and frame in the knee wall.
- Wrapped in vinyl siding.
- Wrapped the posts with white metal for extra pop.

Fresh deck (21ft. x 24ft.)

Complete demo and rebuild of the existing second level deck. This job had some extra goodies such as: -A trellis wrapped around the perimeter. 
-Black aluminum balusters. 
-Grilling area equipped with a black metal roof. 
-Decorative (also supportive) bracing centered on the railings to keep bowing from occurring durning the life of the deck.

Front Deck Overhaul

New load bearing 6x6 supports added then wrapped in 1x10 pre primed lumber.

Pine T&G boards added to ceiling with false beams added for extra “WOW” factor.

Posts and interior false beams were topped with vinyl crown moldings and baseboards.

Custom exterior 1x4 shutters made on site.

PCA railing system installed.

Spar urethane was coated over the fresh pine ceiling and then exterior oil based paint was added to the new posts, moldings, and shutters to wrap it up.

Bedroom Addition

This job was an interior basement build. The scope was to create a bedroom for the daughter, replace the carpet floors with luxury vinyl plank, and finish.

Demo was first removing all the carpet.

The wall to separate the bedroom was framed in along with the closet.

The interior walls were insulated to reduce noise.

The fresh new studs and insulation was wrapped in drywall and finished.

Electrical was run providing outlets on the new interior walls.

New interior doors and baseboard were set.

The room was then painted with a glitter accent wall in the daughter's bedroom (I added double glitter to the paint)

LVP flooring was laid after the moisture barrier was down.

Shoe molding was added and finished off by touch ups.

Workout Room

- New French door installed.
- Framed around hvac return.
- Framed new storage closet.
- Installed new LED can lights.
- Wrapped in drywall and finished.

Extended Sewing Room

Removed the interior wall of the sewing room, bordering the hallway.

Framed two new walls to extend across the floor to the kitchen wall, on the opposite side of the hallway. (Eliminating the hallway all together)

Wrapped the framing in drywall that was then blended in with the original walls of the sewing room.

8mm Luxury vinyl plank were used on the floor of the new and larger sewing room.

Trimmed to match the design of the home and finished wrapping the crown molding into the kitchen.

The final step was painting the room a beautiful ocean blue which complimented the dark flooring beautifully.

Drywall Rework and Paint

A drywall rework and paint.

The ceiling finish began peeling when it was painted over pulling the popcorn off of the ceiling with the existing paint.

The ceiling was scraped sanded and reworked with drywall mud leaving a smooth finish.

Popcorn texture was then sprayed on the vaulted ceiling that was repaired and blended in with its original state.

All of the walls were reworked to become blemish free.

The corners and butt-joints were re-taped and refinished.

Last but not least the room was topped off by a new modern paint scheme from baseboards to ceiling leaving a clean and open feel.

Gutter Repair

Load Bearing Wall Removal/Replacement

Load bearing wall removed and replaced.

Old joists and subfloor were also removed and replaced with new and larger joists finished with fresh hardwood floors.

The room was wrapped in drywall with a silky smooth finish.

The trim was matched to the home’s original style followed by a unblemished paint job to top it off.
